Let’s collaborate!

We engage with a diversity of community members, especially young people, in positively impacting their surroundings, while working collaboratively with non-profit, business, and government organization representatives. Learn more about our people-focused programs below.

Green Team

Groundwork Atlanta is providing paid work opportunities for high school students to help blaze trails and remove invasive species in our city parks. The program provides part-time employment for a crew of youth (ages 14-18) and a team leader in environmental projects. Groundwork Atlanta Green Team members may also attend service trips, where they have the opportunity to meet other Groundwork youth while exploring and improving one of our national parks.

Volunteer Teams

Our staff, Board members, and volunteers have been supporting community service days in greenspaces throughout northwest Atlanta since before Groundwork Atlanta formed in 2015. As our capacity continues to grow, we are increasing the frequency of these volunteer opportunities and expanding to other parts of the City of Atlanta. All members of the public are welcome to join us in improving access and amenities in our parks and future greenway corridors.
